Can I have a cocktail style wedding reception at THE DUNES?

Yes, we can cater from groups as small as 40 through to 200 for cocktails. We work with you to create your perfect Bellarine Peninsula wedding.

Do you offer more formal type sit-down options for weddings?

We can cater for up to 120 guests for a sit-down wedding reception at THE DUNES in Ocean Grove. It’s the best wedding venue on the Bellarine Peninsula for views, food, atmosphere and class.

Are you located close to Geelong?

Yes we are located approximately 20 km from the centre of Geelong on the Bellarine Peninsula in Ocean Grove right next to Barwon Heads.

Do you have views from your restaurant?

THE DUNES is located on the coastline of Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsula. The walls of the restaurant are floor to ceiling glass offering water views from every table.

Do you offer weddings throughout winter?

We operate all year round and can offer you the use of our beautiful restaurant for most of the year. Winter is such a great time to be married on the Bellarine Peninsula as it offers spectacular scenery, a more intimate feel and flexibility to create your perfect day.

How far in advance do I need to book my wedding?

Wedding venues on the Bellarine Peninsula are incredibly popular given our proximity to Geelong and Melbourne. We highly recommend you allow at least 12 - 16 months of lead time for a Summer or Springtime wedding.

Is there accommodation choices close to THE DUNES restaurant in Ocean Grove?

There is a large range of accommodation providers in and around , Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Leopold and surrounding areas on the Bellarine Peninsula. Caravan parks, holiday rentals, exclusive retreats and more.

Is there parking right next to the restaurant?

Yes there is a large public parking area right next to THE DUNES restaurant in Ocean Grove. There is a drop off and pick up reserved space also for any guests that may have special needs.

Can we have our ceremony and reception at THE DUNES?

Absolutely, we offer inside and outside ceremony spaces depending on your preference. We are here to work with you to create the best wedding possible.

Do you have an outdoor space for pre-reception drinks and canapés?

THE DUNES has a beautiful wrap-around outdoor area that is perfect for your pre-drinks or cocktails and canapés. Facing the water it doubles as a spectacular backdrop for photos.

Do you specialise in weddings?

A: We are absolute pros when it comes to weddings, parties and functions. THE DUNES offers a space that can be transformed easily to accomodate dance floors, sit-down functions, cocktail parties and of course weddings. We would be honoured to host your Bellarine Peninsula wedding.
